On the bright side. Flyers can take advantage of harts year by signing him to a reasonable multi year deal. |

If they have to poop the bed a contract year is the best time to see them poop in it. It may save us a few million and every penny helps at this point

Hi Bill,
Any word on Morgan Frost? Can we expect to see him back anytime soon? Before his injury, I thought he showed a very high compete level. I’d like to see him enter back into the lineup as soon as possible after getting some playing time. It could be the boost the Flyers need! |

If the Flyers make a very deep playoff run, there is a chance he could be available. More likely, he will be ready for training camp. |

The ED. Don’t think the prices will be as high as vegas but think we will send a prospect with a player of our choice. Or something like it. Chuck over spent when he was with Minnie but along those lines. We shall see. |

Gostisebehere is sitting once again. I'd be interested to see how many times he has been in the lineup as Gustafsson. I bet the answer is not many.
Another "maintenance" day for Raffl. Probably means his hand is worse off than anticipated.
Vigneault says Hart is "trending in right direction" This after he's allowed 7 goals on the last 41 shots he has faced. |

Ghost was bad in the ranger game Monday but he’s been better than the rest of the Dmen. I really don’t understand this benching . Hell , Meyers and Sanheim had one of the worst nights a pair has had in decades |

His partner was Nate Prosser. Sure, Gostisbehere hasn't played well lately, but he's been producing some offense.
There are so many players playing like poop, you can't scratch all of them. Simply a numbers game, there aren't enough replacements. |

I think Raffl and Laughton are undervalued in the team. They are always the guys that are shunted around, and get to play in the upper lines only when something doesn't work/injury.
In my personal opinion, Laughton could survive in a 2nd pairing role and Raffl in 3rd, provided they are not the best players on those lines. |

I think the entire team has been on a short leash. If you aren’t a proven seasoned veteran than you are in danger of getting benched. Even Lindy and Patrick have had their leashes shortened (and they know they were going to take some time to get back to form).
Ghost has put a couple bad games together. Your right that he can produce but his plus minus is getting ugly. Not sure who sits outside of Provy though.
Braun has looked better playing even while not paired with Provy. But he has had some decent games of lately. |

Penguins have lost Malkin for weeks. Bruins on Covid stop now. There is a slight window to make up some ground. Not only do I think there won't be a deep playoff run, I don't think they will make the playoffs. |

Yeah I've mentally prepared myself for them to miss. Be interesting to see where they are in a few weeks and see what their strategy is for the deadline. |

Braun is by far the Flyers best defender among the teams defenseman. He has had a good season. The problem is that he can only defend. Puck skills are diminished but he finds a way to contribute. Like he did with the center net drive on a goal last game.

The PP was working and I think Ghost was part of the reason, no one else on tis team can play the top like he does. Yes his D but who's D has been good???
I said 2 games ago maybe they are working a trade.
Edit, just that AV said Ghost is sitting due to his lack of D, that does not help a trade scenario. I support AV but I think he is wrong sitting Ghost. |

First...just saw your reply to my post from last night, thanks for the recommendation.. Scheduled for my first shot next week...hockey teams thrive on the Laughtons and Raffls, 2nd and 3rd line players who have some skill. I think back to the cup teams and those great teams of the 80s for the many examples. The problem with teams since the early 2000's has been a lack of depth. G with Voracek, Couturier and Simmons were a good core, but just not deep enough past Laughton and Raffl |
